How to Choose Wall Paint for Kids, Pets, and Messes
Satin or a specifically labeled "washable" or "scrubbable" paint line is the right choice for rooms with kids and pets — sheen and formula matter more here than color, since the wall's job is to survive repeated wiping without showing burnish marks or losing its finish. Eggshell is the more common household default, but it doesn't hold up the same way under crayon, paw prints, and scooter scuffs.
